Visiting the website and hosting
This website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Each visit involves processing technically necessary data, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and information about your browser and operating system. This data is used to deliver the website and to protect it against misuse and attacks. Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies for this purpose. Visitor statistics with Plausible Analytics
To understand how this website is used, I use the open-source software Plausible Analytics. It runs on a separate server of my own, so no data goes to the maker of Plausible. Plausible works without cookies and without profiling. Only aggregated information is collected, such as pages visited, referral source, country, device type, browser and operating system. Your IP address is not stored; it is only briefly combined with your browser into a daily changing identifier that cannot be traced back to you. The data is not shared with third parties. The server is operated privately in Switzerland. It does not allow any conclusions about you as a person.
No advertising tools
This website does not set any cookies itself and does not use any advertising or tracking tools that follow you across other websites. If you switch between the light and dark design using the button in the navigation, your browser stores this choice locally on your device (local storage). It is not transmitted to me or to third parties, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact me by e-mail or phone, I use your details solely to handle your request. As these are my business contact details at Allianz Suisse, processing takes place on Allianz Suisse systems. The Allianz Suisse privacy policy on allianz.ch also applies.
Allianz Suisse online consultation form
The QR code and the “Open the online form” links lead to the Allianz Suisse consultation form. Allianz Suisse is responsible for the data you enter there; its privacy policy applies.
Fonts and icons
For a consistent appearance, this website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA, or Google Ireland Ltd.) and icons via the unpkg.com service. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to the respective servers. You can find more information in Google’s privacy policy.
This website contains a simple link to my LinkedIn profile. Data is only transmitted to LinkedIn once you click the link.
Disclosure abroad
The service providers mentioned may also process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the USA. They rely on recognised safeguards such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
